Do you have a play deficiency? Most of us do.
We think of play as something only kids do. But play is super important for adults as well.
Play is the opposite of work and an antidote to stress. Which is something we desperately need in this work-focused culture.
Play helps us stay healthy, build strong relationships, and be more productive.
How do we play? Choose an activity that you love and have fun doing. You know you are playing when you lose track of time and aren’t thinking about the past or the future. You find that you are completely in the moment without any effort.
My favorite play activities include mountain biking, swimming, skiing (water or snow), and playing board games with my family.
Do you have enough play in your life? How do you play?
