Easy No Cook Gluten Free Playdough
Playdough is a firm favorite with kids they can spend hours playing with it. That said if your child is coeliac then shop bought play dough is out.
Make your own gluten free Playdough with my super easy no cook recipe.
Your will Need: * 1 cup of rice flour
* ½ cup of cornflour (corn starch)
* ½ cup of salt
* 1 tbsp of cream of tartar
* 1 tsp of vegetable oil
* 1 cup of boiling water
* food colouring or colour gels
How to Make: 👉🏼 In a large bowl, add the rice flour, cornflour, salt and cream of tartar and mix to combine.
👉🏼 Place boiling water, food colouring and vegetable oil in a jug.
👉🏼 Pour most of the coloured liquid into the flour bowl (keeping a little in reserve), and mix using a wooden spoon or your hands with kitchen gloves.
👉🏼 Knead the mix until it comes together. If it’s a bit crumbly, add some more liquid.
You are aiming for a nice smooth consistency.
👉🏼 Wrap in cling film and store in the fridge until ready to play.
Tips: 📌 Make in half batches in you want two colours.
📌 Add the liquid to flour slowly to achieve the best consistency.
📌 Gel food colouring gives much more vibrant colours.
